Priesthood Retreat (with President Nelson) – Elder Holland, Elder Oaks
Neither Elder Oaks nor Elder Holland could have been happier. Having been inducted into the Order and attained the highest level of priesthood authority, they had formed a strong bond.
Knowing each boy’s unique circumstances—namely, Oaks’ connection to his father and Holland’s less-than-perfect history with his companion—the brothers determined that they would benefit from some time away from the grind of daily missionary life.
