Growing up, Jake was bullied a lot. It’s an experience that many queer people can relate to. In this scene, Jake rethinks his bullying experience – with the help of a sexual surrogate. Gabriel embodies the role of said bully – but from a point of view of care and compassion. Instead of intimidating, he validates, affirms, and even serves Jake. Video concept by Matthew Shur.
