Private Visit – Bastian Karim and Gianni Gio
Father Gio was a compassionate individual who genuinely and deeply cared about the well-being of those who attended his services. This kind of empathetic approach to counseling the problems of his congregants put him in a unique position to learn more about those he was preaching to when he stood at the pulpit during Sunday worship. Father Gio wanted to know and recognize the faces that listened to him. However, Father Gio detected a troubled soul behind the young man’s eyes when he saw Bastian, an altar boy who worked closely with the priests. As a man of God and someone in a position of authority within the church, Father Gio knew it was his duty to cleanse those within his own fellowship of any sin or guilt.
