Teaching The Tutor – Calvin Banks, Jake Mathews, Parker Inkd

We generally associate wisdom with age. As we gain more experience in life, we learn from our mistakes, our challenges, and our successes. And whether formally through educational institutions or informally through family and friends, the flow of this wisdom is generally from older people to younger people.

However, wisdom can flow both ways. In fact, younger people tend to be more deeply connected to fun, play, joy and hope. These behaviors and emotions often become clouded with age, as we become more jaded and cynical in old age. If we are willing to listen, young people can help us reconnect with this lost part of ourselves.
