Jake Davis is a promising student. While his desire and focus are evident, Alex Mecum believes what is missing is the feeling. Alex’s tutoring is needed in areas that Jake doesn’t understand. Jake isn’t sure what Alex means. Alex isn’t sure how he’ll be received, so he tries to keep things professional. Jake, however, is determined to gain the experience he needs to become a good teacher. Alex recognizes that teacher and student trust goes a long way, so he tries to instill that trust in Jake. Jake feels a warmth and connection he’s never experienced. Alex is kind and considerate, equally firm and kind, and takes extra care to explain everything to Jake. Jake, on the other hand, pays close attention and absorbs information until their feelings for each other explode into a mix of passion and fun as they work together to create sweet harmony.
